These set of portraits are one of my newest in experimentation with the use of black and white oils. What simply began as one piece, quickly expanded to five.

I spent many years working with pastels and it has been one of my favorites in so many ways.  It has allowed me to really get creative with the use of colors and shapes.

The Unity series is based off my life experience as an artist. It touches on imagination, subconscious memories, perceptions and harmony. I bring these themes to focus with rich color play and fluid forms.
